Budget Car Rental
It has come to our attention that every year literally, car
parks full of motorists pay well over the odds for car hire.
The car hire market is considerable in size, but relatively
few companies compete at the budget end of it all.
But there is so much contest in the United States hire marketplace
today, that finding budget car hire is allot easier than you
might have thought.
Before you hire the car:
Check to see that it has no exterior or interior dents or
marks, or you may be charged for them when you return the
car. This can also be an opportunity to negotiate a discount
for a sub standard vehicle. Make sure the gas tank opens easily,
the motor starts, runs correctly and tires are filled.
If the car sounds odd, return it and get another - it is
better to be safe than stranded.
Insurance can be purchased for an extra charge - check your
car insurance policy, if you have one, to find out whether
it will cover damages to your rental car.
Although most rental companies will try to sell you insurance,
your own car insurance may cover a rental car while you are
driving it. Ask your auto insurance agent before renting a
car and paying for unnecessary insurance. If you don't have
car insurance, however, it is probably wise to pay the extra
cost.
